Everyone seemed to be picking up players using some easier method than going through every single team and clicking on every single player. It's take a week on it's own.

I've had to sell Pogba, Martial and De Gea due to Real being interested and them getting pissed when I rejected bids. £75m, £72m and £64m respectively.

I don't have the Brexit announcement in my messages anymore, but its an incredibly easy to miss basic message just saying we've left the EU, and an announcement of work permit changes, if any. So keep an eye out.

I've zero idea! My board still won't let me pick affiliate so I've ended up with Groningen and Rangers and fuck all else. My scouting knowledge has been stuck at 61% for two bloody seasons.

Recalled and sold off my work permit lads for about 3mil each, but with 30mil buy back clauses in the transfers as a couple of them should become superstars.

Griezmann and Bonucci will be gone in the summer. Griezmann has never hit the heights I expected (although he has been good), and Bonucci is pretty much the greatest defender I've ever had but his physicals are dropping fairly quick now he's 33. Got Laporte coming for 63mil as his replacement.

Moise Kean gone too at end of season, 25mil up front with 25mil in add ons to Chelsea. Beast of a player but woeful natural fitness. Neymar is ultimate goal, and I can afford him, but he wants 700k a week wages lol.

They're essentially inside forwards, they cut out wide when we counter attack, taking the central defenders with them and leaving Icardi with space if a midfielder hasn't tracked back. In real life I highly doubt it'd work but such is the match engine limitations.

If it was kept purely narrow we'd just get incredibly crowded and the tactic wouldn't work. Its why my two false nines are always capable of playing on at least one wing, put Icardi or a straight up striker there and it turns to shit.

However when defending, it can be a bombscare as there's no cover on the wings for ya fullbacks. The left/right centre mids are told to go out wide but it rarely happens. Would be an horrific tactic for a lesser side. Whole idea is to break up any counter via midfield, if they get past it the opposition normally gets a good chance so Saul/Sanches work a fuckton during the game.

I think the Brexit thing is fucked. I had a second announcement of it saying that everything will stay as is, again, and now I need work permits for Spanish/Italian/French/German etc players.

What the fuck.

That or I misread it. Isn't a major issue, like. Just means I can't hoover up any 5 star regens as soon as they appear.

EDIT: So someone like Bernardo Silva (I don't actually want him, its in my scout report), 40 international caps, played in France for years won't get a work permit, but a 19yo Barca regen with 1 cap does?!

When was the scout report? I read someone moaning about something similar a few days ago and turns out the report was well old.

Brand new, I'm still at the news screen with my reports. End of season I scout the top 100 players or so. If it is fucked, its ruined the enjoyment of my save somewhat.

Exactly. I mean my United side is at a stage where I'd be leaving them, or the save soon. No player available, bar maybe 3 or 4 are better than my starting 11 so its getting a bit boring but fucking hell if they can't even implement it right, fuck it.

Perhaps try and sign one who won't get a work permit to see if you can actually get a work permit without having to appeal? Might just be visual in which case it'll be fixed soon enough init.

I can't really say with United as if you're successful, the money is batshit. I can spend 250mil every summer (after selling, of course), lose 20mil every single month and still have a bank balance of around 200mil at the start of the next season due to sponsorship, tv and competition money. The Premier League is insane. My average on big name players has been about 300k, for squad players, around 100-130k.

A Colombian striker and a Uruguayan defender, both out on loan to Groningen for 6 months, have been granted work permits. 17 and 18 years old respectively, no international appearances, about 25 u21 caps between 'em. I couldn't get one for any cunt before it. I dunno what is going on but its great.
