Greece were bloody awful.
Still dunno why folk dislike Ronaldo
Ronaldo putting the captain's armband back on.
Had we come second in our group, we'd have won the damn thing, or something.
Why doesn't Ronaldo shave his head and be 100% hairless?
Consider their golden generation and now consider this. Football is smoke and mirrors and it always has been. Great to see one of the big two win an international honour whilst the other takes a criminal record. Would be even funnier if that knee injury ended it.
I forget Portugal is so small. If you're a male between 18-34 you've got a 1 in 50 chance of playing for the national team.
Pepe whispering something to kante during the guard of honour.
Shame Deschamps didn't wipe out there.
Pepe and Ronaldo. Fucking love it.
Ronnie putting the limp back on after jumping up and down
Nani with no shorts on?
Edit: Oh just rolled up really fucking high.
Quaresma looks like a future member of ISIS.
lol at Francois Hollande standing there like a berk.
Omg need to add Eder on Snapchat.
Lol Nani hogging it.
I didnt see eder during the celebrations at all
Wonder what would of happened if Germany was here
Haha.
Some dig too deep, a little too deep.
#Lowe
That line is one of the greatest things BBC have ever done.
As the match wore on Portugal grew on me more and more. Basically jumped out my seat when Eder banged it in.
Pepe immense. Proper big game player.
Portugals game plan of shit the game up until the 80th minute and then try and score proves effective.
Your man santos should be a shoe in for next Stoke manager whenever tony pulis pops his clogs falling from a ladder trying to get new gear in sports direct. Proper dull and boring football.
Hughes is the manager at Stoke
Ronaldo putting his career on the line for his country while Messi retires after missing a penalty.
YERRRRRRRRRRRRS
I was glad Portugal won that in the end. Say what you want about Ronaldo, but he clearly cared hugely about winning that. France were shit tonight, and deserved to lose.
There's no stronger argument for the monarchy than thinking you could end up with a head of state who gets on like that.
Is there anyone who didn't care about winning that?
That was comfortably the worst international final I've ever watched.
EDIT: And right up there with the 2002 World Cup in terms of low-quality football, although the latter at least had the redeeming feature of interesting upsets.
Great goon when the goal went in. The French fans were average all night.
Fantastic finish. The champs elleysee was absolutely mental after. And I got spoons a ticket so he's probably got a few stories.
The bounce of the Jabulani was the worst thing ever to happen in a major tournament. Literally ruined the World Cup. Everyone was too thick to realise it though, thinking 'ooh it swerves a lot' is the only possible shit ball narrative.
Fonte must be one of the most under rated players in the world. Always makes his centre back partner look immense. He must be a really good organiser, talker, leader etc.
Pepe looked great alongside him, Lovren was far better for his season at Southampton than at Lyon or Liverpool, Alderwierweld wasn't fancied at Atleti and kicked on since we signed him and last season the pairing with Van Djik was on one of the best in the league.
Honestly don't think they'd have come close to winning it if they didn't make the switch to start playing Fonte.
It's incredible they thought to play 38 year old Carvalho instead in the first place.
Think the fireworks/horns finished about 5am
