Nah, I think it was his positioning.
Although in one-on-ones he was strangely good. Remember v Lukaku? In his little pocket.

He's more than likely got some heavy-duty baldness coming his way, so you can understand the lack of a bizness haircut.
Fonte going is the worst of all these players we've sold over recent years.
8m is a drop in the ocean as well, just can't see any point in it and we don't seem to be interested in replacing him. Shambles.
You reckon it's a goer, then?
I think so. Either that or Fonte angling for a longer contract. We've offered him an improved deal to be our highest earner but not any extension.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar to Koeman, Fonte is trying to use the interest from United to get more money and we've called his bluff and allowed him to go. It almost seems like there's an arrogance from the club towards people leaving as they seem to think they can always replace with a better player for less money.
He's vital to everything we do, he's such an under rated player. Has that calming aura that makes everyone else around him up there game and play at their full potential.
Was that the cup game where Lukaku went on to miss twenty sitters or in the league? I know there was one you've referenced where somebody on here made the point that on paper Lukaku should have had him over a barrel but Blind donned him for pretty much the whole game. Can't remember if it was two halves of the same match though.
I think it might have been the same game now you've said that. Being dominated by a 5'9 makeshift centre back with the muscle of a cabbage leaf probably would mess with your head.
Joe Garner. Any good?
Scored some stunning goals for PNE.
The BBC page reckon Palace are going to go for Sissoko to replace Bolasie.
We know they've got money and Pardew LOVES Sissoko, so if Sissoko could love him back, that'd be great and we'd all be winners here.
I kind of feel like Sissoko is a tad better than Bolasie.
That said they are pretty much the same player to me.
Very different styles of play. If Sissoko is like anyone in the league it's Yaya Toure.
In that he puts in ten minutes effort every game?
Wolves signing Luisao now! Ł100k a week
This will end up with the formation of AFC Wolves.
Really? Yaya Toure is like a lot slower and clunkier to me. More of a passer somehow.
I always found both Bolasie and Sissoko to be fairly direct players with a bit of pace. Both will maybe try to beat their man as well, which you rarely see Toure do. Or maybe I'm getting Sissoko mixed up with someone else.
Sissoko doesn't haven't any skill to beat a man, he's pretty clumsy. He is quicker than Toure, so it's not a direct comparison, but he's similar in that he uses his power to move forward with the ball (though you don't actually see Toure do that much anymore).
He's always turned it on in a France shirt, looked completely different for Newcastle though unfortunately. At his best he would be the best player in the Championship by a mile.
So the Mustafi deal is as follows: the geezer wants to move; the club wants to sell; the club is happy to sell at well below the release clause. If it doesn't happen then we should wind the club up and we can go and watch Barnet. That we seem to be sniffing around Mathieu and two other no-marks would suggest we're being wankers again.

Both parties deserve a
Ł23M, and apparently the Ł7M is made of clauses he'd never meet. Like ten league goals in a season.
All parties want the move to happen, you expect, but you might as well squeeze Palace until the pips squeak.
We have Senderos on trial and are in talks to sign Worf. Battle of the heads.
Speaking of Senderos, saw this earlier, either wait or just jump to 20 seconds in:

Precious little wanker, Sam should drop him next and see how much he seethes about it.
I hate Man City and Joe Hart and all but I don't really understand what's wrong with looking to move from a team whose manager has told you he doesn't want to play you.
Edit: Schweinsteiger ought to take note.
He's not as good as he thinks he is, but I refuse to believe that any professional 'keeper isn't handy enough with the ball at their feet to consistently find their centre-backs, so lol at some foreign flapping idiot like Claudio Bravo being a better fit.
Jedinak off to Villa. Bolasie off to Everton. We're getting rid of our gauche giants. Pardiola is after 'conventional' players.
Season of transition lads. Total football
That being said, watch schizophrenic giraffe Martin Kelly play left back at the weekend.
He's been dropped for two whole games, he could at least give it until christmas to try and get back into the side. Flouncing off to the career wilderness that is Everton doesn't say much about his temperament.
Again, Disco, not trying to be a dickhead but:
It is understood Guardiola and Hart, who knows he has no future at the club, have not built up any kind of relationship, with Guardiola saying on Friday that Hart does not have the time to become the kind of 'sweeper-keeper' he is looking for.
"I am not saying he's not able to do it - with training he can do it," said Guardiola on Friday. "With time. But his time is now. It's not about what happens in six months, seven months."
Then lol at him for thinking 6 months is a long time.
He's got about ten years of football left in him, if not more. Surely it's worth spending one of those fighting for your place at the club you've been with for a decade.
Seeing as the role consists of standing twenty yards off your line and being crap, claiming that it would take him six months to master it is a blatant dig at his intelligence and - worse - his character. The snide baldy cunt.
Bravo is a far better 'keeper regardless.
If your manager is about to spend 20m+ on a 33 year old to replace you... do you honestly think sticking around and fighting for your place is going to do anything?
I'm seriously asking maybe I'm well off.

Mahrez staying by the looks of things. @Lee
The boy Riyad signs a new four year deal
Him and Vardy to run riot over The Arsenal tomorrow.
Joe Hart is absolute shite. Whether he can pass or not (he can't) is secondary to the fact that he throws one in in 50% of high pressure games.
He's been given slack at City for years because he's English. Ultimately he's just not very good.
Sunderland should probably go for it. I dunno what Pep's obsession with sweeper keepers is, though. Its not an advantage to have. Victor Valdes looked like a complete bombscare whenever he left his box.
Joe hart has a problem diving to his left. He always seems to fuck up on that side
Jedinak
Lescott to Rangers
We've done some great business this summer. Not sure it'll be enough because the club was so fucked to begin with, but the majority of the cunts are gone.
Great signing that. The kind of unlikeable, hard, uncompromising bastard you could do with.
