We're less focused on our academy since the financial situation improved. There seem to be some strange decisions being made with regard to which players are pushed through, loaned out, sold etc. Akpom, for example, should have been kept and given a chance this season given the shortage of options up front. He's always looked lively when involved with the first team. The likes of Zelalem, Maitland-Niles, Hayden really should be integrated into the first team after their current loans.Quote:
