:(
Sports game story modes are disgusting.
I prefer franchise modes personally.
Just done Uncharted The Lost Legacy. The five uncharted games ive played over the past few months have been excellent. The whole series is sick. I really enjoyed the game, it did not get boring at any stage.
Have any of you used 365games.co.uk to buy from before? And if so, are they legit?
Haven’t bought any new games for a few years now, but they’ve got the new PES for £25 so was just going to buy it from there.
Original Sin 2 really does have some of the best dress-up in an RPG I've played in ages.
Even early doors, once you're out of your basic rags, you start to look good but now I'm getting some smashing hats.

It’s lovely
I'm still not sure about it.
I look forward to when I can add a few more games to it. Needs Mario Allstars to start.
I kept mine and it's still set up for the odd game. Back when gameplay mattered.
I’ve got an original one boxed on the top of my wardrobe. I have Offshore’s copy of Street Fighter 2 actually!
Yup. That was the big omission for me. They sold the console with it back in the day. Can't help being more of a Sega guy but I would like to plug those Nintendo gaps in a legitimate way. Speaking of Sega, Sonic 2 is fucking brisk. Flying through that in comparison to the first game.
S3&K
People buying the SNES mini when you can just buy a snes pad, connect it to ya PC and download the entire library in 15 minutes. Gullible fecks.
The worst part is it’s exactly the same, internally, as the NES Mini.
Is kinda cool though.
Speaking of mini

Getting Zip Stick flashbacks from that.
Needs some IK+ though.
There's no point having the original Speedball when the top notch sequel is in there. The Last Ninja stands out as missing too, hardest game I've ever played.
Codemasters look like they didn't want in. Dizzy reboot round the corner, lads. Oh, IK+. I have never been happier than the time I picked up a copy of that in Grainger Games.
Spy vs Spy was a favourite too but the first one only, didn't like the desert island version.
Heat Signature is a weird game. The core gameplay of picking up a mission, breaking into the ship, killing everyone on board is fun but what am I achieving apart from liberating space until that character dies? I'm not sure.
The goal for each character is to complete their personal mission, beyond that I'd say the Defector missions are worth liberating stations for. You're not wrong though, I've got maybe a bit more than half the stations unlocked and I'm probably going to lose interest before getting them all.
I complete the Personal Mission to achieve what though? Get more money that I won't spend because if I'm good enough to complete the Personal Mission I don't need more items.
I think you're meant to retire them at that point and start afresh with a new character.
Hmm...
Any other similarly graphically intensive (as in not at all) games out recently? I'm stuck on a work laptop.
Lots of the games they put in these columns would probably fit the bill.

NBA 2k18 on the Switch is rough. The game still plays but anything outside of that, no bueno. There's an audio bug meaning every cutscene's sound clips and the models look like dogshit. The Asian lady is rather annoying.
Meanwhile, Golf Story might be the most relaxing time you can have in a video game. The soundtrack is so good as well. There's no video to link to but there's one with saxophones which is basically battle music from Final Fantasy and it's fucking amazing.
I'm tempted to pick up NBA2k18. Is the career mode any good? The Giant Bomb review made the game seem pretty good. I haven't played a Bball game in ages.
The story, as ever is stupid and it's hard (shot meter is so bad) but it's fun.
Is career mode only some 'Journey' bullshit or is there just building a team/signing players etc.?
There's mycareer which is journey-esque (there's a few cutscenes but that's about it) but there's also a mygm mode which is just team shit.
I've never enjoyed career mode in any sports game. I just want to get my team, and beat the other team. Not rise the ranks of the NBA something something.
Aren't all games built around everything bar playing the actual game now these days anyway? Every comment I see from anyone about FIFA is something about trading cards and I don't think anyone has actually played any matches on it yet.
I stay away from pretty much anything online, I'm a career and story mode man almost exclusively.
Went back to Furi on Easy difficulty. It still feels a bit rough to me. Parry timing still feels alien to me and you're expected to pull a series of them off in certain phases. In other news, I wrapped up the remaining bosses on Dark Souls. Tanked Manus with the Havel set because that boss feels too aggressive for that game. He's a Bloodborne boss 4 years in advance. Kalameet was piss, by comparison. Once you know how to avoid his red debuff beam, you're cosy. Dark Souls II next. I've got DLC and Darklurker bosses to wrap up in that.
It now also plays Mega Drive, Master System, NES and a bunch of other stuff too. There are some smart people about.
Still loving Divinity Original Sin 2. Had a fight in my co-op save yesterday where it must have taken us about 40 minutes to finish it. Two differently-aligned groups of enemies, loads of absurd elemental effects and combinations going on. Brilliant stuff.
I restarted my NBA2k18 career as my Point Guard was pissing me off with the way I'd set him up. So I went for a taller Shooting Guard. What I've since realised is I have no idea how to play any position that isn't Point Guard. I just walk around into other peoples positions thinking, 'Maybe I should be over here'.
Same for me, I just tend to hang around the outside moving into space and hoping I'm doing it right.
Not being able to boost my team mate score by just passing it to a corner, getting it back, passing to the other corner, repeat ad infitum is annoying too.
Got 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals in 1 game though while still a 60 rated player though. The beautiful thing about Jeremy Lin is he will always run in for the layup so you just completely abandon your man and slap him around.
Outside of that match I've been complete dog shit. Quick way to get your points up though as the coach won't give you any minutes and you can rack up that salary. Is there anyway to earn VC not playing MyCareer games/Multiplayer? I've just checked the 'Predict a Game' results from last night and I got all of them wrong by 20+ points. Nice.
I've just found a rather good Twitter feed that takes weird parts of patch notes.

Lemmings is on the Windows Store. Sorted.
The plan was to come home, buy Shadow of War and immerse myself in that for the evening but family visiting all weekend so there doesn't seem much point before next week. :moop:
