Well that was fun.
I like two things about this new format: Coulthard being all snidey whenever there's a shot of something in the pitlane 'We're seeing Frank Williams scratching his arse, it's more interesting than what's happening on track!' And everyone treating the session as over with more than 2 minutes left on the clock.
Is there anything more pointless than the recent national anthem trend? I think it would be less annoying if it wasn't grinning warlords and dictators standing up there most of the time.
I really hope we get Sainz vs Verstappen round 2.
Fucking hell that's poor from Ferrari.
 What a shame.
And Hamilton getting a tip more than makes up for it :chief:
That really is disgraceful driving from Bottas.
At least it makes the season interesting.
And now we get a good race.
On a serious note why wouldn't you spend a heap of time in practice getting your start procedure and clutch control right?
Less damage to 'Lewis' car than first thought unfortunately.
This would be great if Rosberg wasn't a thousand miles out in front.
Pit Hamilton now you muppets, he can't stay out and he'll be much better off getting new tyres and having a run at Raikkonen.
Grosjean is having a great day the sexy little bastard.
Did anyone hear Bernies comments on the qualifying system by the way?
Full on twat mode.
His self interest is so much more blatant since he bought his own German court.
He was asked by Channel 4 if he would be holding a drivers meeting to sort out a new qualy system. He responded with "Why would I speak to them? They only drive the cars."
He was then told about the GPDA(headed by Wurtz, Button and Vettel) releasing a statement about how they don't like the system, or the way that things are decided. His response "I'm surprised they can read and write. They even look like they can spell!"
:D He's entertaining if nothing else. And there's not a thing they can do about it.
It's all part of the game, he's just trying to rubbish the Strategy Group and by extension the main manufacturers.
Back to 2015 qualy rules for China. About time too.
 :hail:
Thank fuck for that.
Get your predictions in.
Well that went well.
Hamilton starting last should make for a good race at least, the seethe from Britney when he gets overhauled by the end of the season (again) is going to be immense.
Great, now I get to watch HAM come from the back and put both McLarens in the dust. :(
Missed my predections for this. John Arne, could you email me directly next time. Im not going to tell you again.
Sorry @SincereTheRebel :( give me your mobile number and I'll give you a call next time xxx
Pit lane racing
That double vettel pass in the pit lane was amazing
Ok, I'm sold. Let's reverse the grid every GP.
Vettel is just barking past man. Hopefully alonso and kyviat* have good race from here given they are in top 5 after 15 laps
Not too sure what Vettel is complaining about. Kvyat took advantage of both Ferrari's going too wide and snook inside.
He's getting his public apology in early where everyone will hear it.
Should be entertaining seeing if Rosberg can stuff this lead up over the next few months.
This season doesn't have the same feel as two years ago. Then Hamilton was constantly recovering to 2nd and keeping the pressure on. I don't think he'll be doing it this year unless Rosberg has a DNF or two.
Pretty enjoyable Formula E race in Paris on TV at the moment, through I'm not sure if it's live or not. The noise is still shit and I've no idea what the pit stops are about other than swapping cars but it was a decent race.
EDIT: And then it finishes on a safety car :moop:
They've had some good races and as a formula it's only going to become more and more relevant, I don't like the silly fan boost thing but other that they're some decent drivers away from something good.
The high pitched squeal is terrible though. Haven't watched it enough to know if it's the motors or just the tyres on a street track. Will definitely watch again though, was surprised how many names I recognised.
It's probably the electric motors, they can be a bit whiny. Last time I watched it the line up was like a list of failed F1 dreams with Nicolas Prost somehow in there, I can only assume Nick Heidfeld is mired in deep depression over his F1 career because he really should be wiping the floor with that lot.
Did I really just see Martin Brundle 'tweak' Button's nipple, whilst doing the grid walk??
Forget my predictions again. John Arne is useless.
I even left you a voicemail.
1st May, anniversary of Senna's accident, can't have been many falling on a race day.
Vettel having trouble in traffic, who would think.
Kvyat taking out Vettel after he gave him shit last weekend :D
Why aren't we seeing any replays?
Looks like vettel got the puncture during that first move off the start
Vettel shunted twice :D
Excellent.
That radio message. :D Kvyat is trolling Vettel hard this season.
