You should try these, @randomlegend.
The walnut whips, I mean. They look so good.
There's no point though.

They're already perfection.
I've got a Terry's Chocolate Orange, and it cost me fifty pence. For somebody with supposedly limited energy, Randrew, you seem to waste a lot of it.
ASDA
Especially now that they're putting in some good butchers in shops too.

I was actually able to get a shit load of beef shin last month, most supermarkets now only stock it in December.
Their beef sausages are immense.
I'll need to try those.
I fucking love their meatballs wrapped in puff pastry though.
Perfect thing to shove in the oven.
Can't find a better picture unfortunately, but I want to have a go at these:

Blackcurrant teacakes
Decided to bust out my slow cooker again today. Making a bit fuck off roast for one.
Also going to investigate how to turn the remains into stovies.
Making this beauty tonight.

Any form of fruit goo does not belong in teacakes. Biscuit, chocolate, cream.
Teacakes are marshmallow, not cream.
The Tunnocks caramel chew bars are out of this world.
Yeah. More of a wafer I suppose. They're immense though.
It's a caramel wafer. Chew bar ffs. It's not a dog snack.
All about the dark chocolate ones. They really are brilliant chew bars.
It's a bar. It's chewy.
Go fuck yourselves :moop:
Roast was magnificent.
'Managed to spill all my leftover gravy over my counter/floor/shorts though which was a move so clumsy it baffled me.
You're wearing shorts in this weather?
Classic hipster
Are you contractually required to have the central heating cranked up to the max?
See, @Magic? Definitely not a hipster.
I'm wearing shorts right now too.

Thanksgiving dinner tonight. I've never really fucked with it foodwise tbh, turkey is among the worst animals and stuffing is just not appealing at all. You're basically left with mashed potatoes, which are never going to set your world alight no matter how hard you try, and cranberry sauce, which is okay. When I have a family i'll strongly consider ditching the turkey and getting a family platter of KFC wings instead
Mash? What kind of deviant has mash with a roast rather than, well, roast potatoes?
Most aspects of the traditional thanksgiving dinner sound a bit of a textural disaster.
I could live with croquet potatoes but it still wouldn't be ideal.
Roast chicken with mash is a glorious meal, I just wouldn't count it as an official roast.
I love banoffee around Thanksgiving.
Root vegetable mash is the only mash allowed near a roast dinner.
If it's watery you're making it wrong/going to shit restaurants.
2 x potatoes is absolutely mega :nodd:
Had this tonight.

Fucking spot on.
With bacon is a fine christmas tradition which we should roll out over the rest of the year. In fact full size sausages with an entire slice of bacon wrapped round them are fantastic with a roast.
