Did I miss Diaz landing a massive shot? McGregor has fallen off a cliff energy wise.
At what point do you have to start questioning McGregors training regime? Being so knackered after 2 rounds...
Not sure about that. I thought Diaz had that on points.
That second wind in the fourth saved McGregor. His style will always knacker him. Diaz just takes a stupid amount of damage. I had Conor taking 1st with ease and 2nd and 4th just about.
Should be easier at 155 but McGregor needs to go back to 145 to lol past the division again
Ack you have a point, he was blowing out his arse from the second onwards
McGregor really is on course to be one of the GOATS. Only the second man to win at 145 and 170. It's a shame he won't have the chance to be a two weight division champion.
I won't be shocked to see Maia get a title shot ahead of Thompson. Both would win a title fight, though.
Strong rumours floating around that the UFC will announce tomorrow, that Conor will fight GSP at 205 in November in New York.
Utterly pointless. GSP is a BIG welterweight and one of the best wrestlers to ever get into an octagon. He'd just take down Conor with ease and grind out a 5 round victory.
If he doesn't relinquish his belt for that fight then they're all full of shit.
Joe Silva gone. Alot of shit for Sean Shelby to do now
I really like the premise of the new TUF season.
The flyweight champions from 16 different organisations fighting it out for a title shot against Demetrious Johnson.
It's nonsense, and they know it. What would it say about the UFC if their all conquering, pound-for-pound best who's torn through his division with increasing ease got knocked off by some chancing reality show winner from a regional African show?
Nkazimulo Zulu will be our new flyweight champion and it's going to be glorious. Embrace it, John.
If you want a quality narrative then Damacio Page, who was thrice submitted in the UFC and lost the title that got him into it to another of the competitors, winning it would be good fun. If only because Demetrious Johnson would biff him in about three seconds.
Donald Cerrone v Robbie Lawler all but confirmed for UFC 205.
That's going to be fucking brilliant.
Cerrone knocked out in Round 1 will be a great laugh.
205 is their first show at MSG so I wouldn't be surprised if that fight ends up about third on the bill as well. They'll try to get McGregor in no doubt, and the timing would be about right for Dominick Cruz to defend although I'm not sure there's an obvious challenger at the moment.
Err, Cody Garbrandt surely?
Garbrandt had slipped my mind. He's about as good an option as they have. That, McNugget vs Eddie Alvarez, and Lawler vs Cerrone. Get it done, Shelby.
He looks a bit good, but then Cruz is also stupidly good at winning fights. That's a very nice card.
Lawler has puled out of the Cerrone fight at 205 :(

Dollaway is out of his fight tonight after getting a back injury whilst on a faulty lift :cab:
Cerrone offered to step in at light heavyweight to face his opponent

Mickey Gall doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. :D
What time will Punks fight be?
I'll guess at 3.30am. It's the second on the main card I think
I'll watch first thing and drop my jam on toast if Cult of Personality hits.
I obviously want CM Punk to lose badly but I also hate Mickey Gall after he wanted his ring walk music to be 'Mickey' by Toni Basil.
Glad that they told him to get fucked.

Rumours that Nick Diaz will replace Lawler to fight Cerrone at 205.
Woof.
Fuck it, I fancy Punk to win tonight.
Jojo Calderwood is someone i'm obviously going to back. Really excited bout seeing Overeem tonight.
Could someone PM me a stream?
Tonight's card is boring as fuck. Heavyweights galore and Faber to dampen proceedings even more so
Not that I was ever a CM Punk fan. I just think fair play using his rasslin' theme.
Well that was good.
Holy shit, that was actually tough to watch.
It's all well and good saying 'fair play mate giving it a go mate', but he's just embarrassed himself.
I was hoping he'd give a good account of himself. That was a hard watch though. I'm not even sure he got any offense in at all.
Has he just become their Bo Dallas?
He says he's giving it another go so I guess we all have to BOlieve.
Two years of training for that. I could have gone in there now and laid on the floor and got splatted.
My friend was/is a massive mark for CM Punk, so I used to say that he wasn't a credible champion because I could have him. Well...
Gall could have pounded him out with little to no effort, but I like that he went for the sub. CM Punk doing that was basically the same as James Toney with his daft sojourn into MMA.
Most people aren't Brock Lesnar.
Just watching the rest of the event now. That jumping kick from Werdum as soon as the fight started was great, but Browne was moving as though he wanted to touch gloves so Werdum can fuck off, the sneaky shit.
The state of Werdum after the fight. That kick he threw at Browne's cornerman should see him cut if they're consistent.
That title fight was quality. Miocic's chin is questionable as always, but he recovered well there. I reckon Cain will murder him if he can get fully fit again, but he's great fun to watch.
Says a lot that the best part about the Werdum fight was in the opening five seconds, and then after the fight. So dull, and deserved the boos. Werdum's cryface made up for it though.
CM Punk got battered. Gall seemed like he'd just learnt swearwords. He should twat Northcutt though. Loved that he called him corny. :D
Miocic was awesome. Great fight, great post-fight interview. "He kicks hard as fuck," haha. I really don't like Overeem.
